The obsproject.com (Open Broadcaster Software Project) now has a Mac application for OSX 10.8 and above, so we thought we would make this video tutorial to walk you through the process of streaming to Twitch using HDPVRCapture, the Open Broadcaster Software application, and the SoundFlower application. HDPVRCapture is a software application which enables you to record HD H.264/AAC video via Hauppaugeās HDPVR Rocket (sold separately), on your Intel Mac. V3 features an attractive UI which is simple to use. Record straight from the default settings or for the advanced user, a selection of features to help you achieve your required output. 5.1 channel audio: record 5.1 channel audio over SPDIF Optical on the HD PVR 2 GE Plus and the HD PVR 2 model 1512; Personal Logo inserter. The Personal Logo inserter is part of Hauppauge Capture and can be found in the Settings tab. It only runs with the HD PVR 2 (all models) and Colossus 2.

This is how it's set up at the moment:
Streaming Laptop, USB - HDPVR2.
HDPVR2 HDMI IN (gaming PC) + HDMI OUT (Gaming PC Monitor)
I'm then using Window capture on OBS Classic to capture the preview of the recording function through the Hauppauge software. This is giving me the gameplay preview for my OBS client.
My headset is plugged into my gaming PC, when i look at the microphone detection on OBS it picks up the microphone with no troubles. However, it doesn't capture any of the ingame sounds.
If i change the playback device on my gaming PC to the Gaming PC Monitor, the Hauppage software picks up the audio.
I'd like to know if anyone would know how to set this up properly.
Just to be 100% clear my aim is to have a dual PC Streaming setup. But still use the audio through my headset.
Hopefully someone can help, i can only fine tutorials for consoles!
